There is nothing more beautiful

There is nothing more beautiful than the feeling of love,

Than the infatuation betwix two teenagers,

Than the stolen glances of shy lovers

Who fear unreciprocated love.

The feeling that realeases dopamine

Into the nervous system

Making each moment

More potent than

The last.

This magical feeling that consumes,

And takes away all pains of the universe,

This feeling that gives hope

That there exists nothing better beyond the present moment

I am selfish,

For I cannot live without this feeling,

And I cling to those who give it to me,

I am addicted to those butterflies

There is nothing in the world so lovely

So innocent,

As those pure souls attempting to come together

And feel for the first time their hearts palpitate in a symphony.
