Thanking Your Real

As we sat in a circle in groups of six,
Your story was touching but needed a fix.
You let down your guard and showed us the real,
A new side of emotions that no one could feel.
You comforted us all with sincere words and lets us all know there was somewhere we could turn.
Appearing to be strong you lets us in to a unique person who could no longer pretend.
Your situation connected so much to mine, a whole different scenario but of the same kind.
To know that I am not alone brings a new happiness that I was missing at home.
From drugs to suicide I feel your pain, but having people, the effect of it is not the same.
Feeling unwanted and unappreciated is nothing new but after this experience I appreciate you.
Your positive attitude brought me to tears, for someone so hurt it seemed like you had no fears.
Im thanking you for being real because as a teenager in the society it gets hard to deal with the pressures of life all alone.
No longer will you have to worry because I am here for you. A new found friend just for you.
