Temptation
How sweet and how lovely it has been made,
Glowing bright as though Kissed by the sun
But don't be dismayed,
Its stem will feel smooth and soft like its very pure,
But go down to its roots and its thorns will give you poison
you cannot cure,
They grow in every man's garden sapping the lives of the
young man's harvest,
But the man doesn't know his garden's silent killer because
It's pretty,
Pretty enough to kill you and me,
Pretty enough to kill those in need,
It's pretty enough to take lives can't you see,
No,
No,
No with God, this tempting flower will never take me!
