The Tale as Old as Time

Tue, 08/29/2017 - 20:54 -- novox

It was the tale as old as time

That put Belle into a bind

For the curse had no reverse

And love's long embrace

Was actually quite terse

As soon as their lips parted

The transformation started

The prince's time being furry ceased

But soon his beauty became the beast

The girl that was once so lovely and fair

Changed all in an instant and was covered in hair

All the book reading in the world had not prepared her for this

To be trapped in a beast's body because of true love's kiss

So what was poor Belle left to do?

Except wait for someone new to give the curse to

For it could never truly be broken

Those eternal words that the enchantress had spoken
