Memories
lie at the
bot-
tom
of a
deep,
clear
pool.

The
water
is cool,
I imagine,
and silky smooth
as it passes skin;
hairs are lifted
and flow
with-
out
form.

The swim is nice,
refreshing
even,
serene
as a
baptism...

I go under,
deep
deep
deeper,
and I
sink
to
the
bot-
tom.
