Summer Insanity

The summer's weather,
blistering hot,
does something
no one ever thought.
It twists the minds of those who go
outside to see the summer show.
The sky so blue may hypnotize
those who stare with awestruck eyes.
The heat that rises steals away
the hearts of people led astray
by warm winds casted 'cross the plain.
There's not a cure but winter rain.
