Summer Blossom

Tue, 06/14/2016 - 14:01 -- Kae.D

You are immune to the Devil’s wrath; you walk the straight and narrow path

Walking with grace and style; your eyes shine like the River Nile

So slender and so fair, your fragrance so potent; you have blossoms in your hair

I don’t know what I would do without you in my life; how I could continue to live with sight

You leave such a deep impression; the girl with a melanin complexion

Such a beauty to behold; the pink and green to my black and gold

You help my crippled spirit stand; you are my oasis in the desert sand

Your dress is so unique in its structure; Isis in the flesh, your beauty can never rupture

Realize that I could treat you better than any man can; at least my own best as you are far more worthy than just a mere mortal man

The change you bring in me is so fresh; the spirit of spring in the flesh

Please take me to your bright height and out of my dark bottom; take me away with you, my beautiful summer blossom.
