Sugar Pill

Thu, 08/15/2013 - 12:37 -- Eunoia

Faux furs,

Flavors

forms

Too vibrant colors

Makes the sweetness sting

Not the pill that swirls in your belly

Once you finish the swig

Mimicking the patterns of serotonin

Brain scanning technology is quickly approaching levels of detail that will have serious implications (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

A smile that makes you eager

flushing you with bright, warm sunlight

A wave of pearly diamond drops splashing on any open skin

Releasing a forced breath

Lessening the load of thought

By the way your brain so accepts the token so graciously

There’s no careful sipping

The brain hooks onto the ounce or so of sweetness

Devouring every atom with the hallucination that it’s good

By sight it sparkles.

Something so innocent

So jubilant

And childish

That can cure anything from green to spots

By hand

bless the magic of the Sugar Pill
