I advise you not to chase your dreams.

Now bear with me and let me explain:

 

If you chase your dreams, then

you’ll run into a place

that has no space to expand

your knowledge or your mind.

 

That is why I say chase your reality

Be inspired to make it real

After all, I always say that life is a duality

That many people do not feel.

 

People are chasing but that’s immensely disproportionate

It’s like the fortunes of the fortunate

Compare that with an individual who’s not corporate

And you’ll see why what I’m saying is important.

 

The goal of this poem was to express

Showcase a style that’s not distinct

Talk about how life is a mess

And how it can be over in a blink.
