Strange to Think

Senior year - them.

Senior year -me.

All within a year.

Strange to think.

You see, I had a lot of friends.

Then graduation came.

Now, they're all gone.

Strange to think.

Yet, I've made new friends.

But the old, I'll never forget.

Now I'm the one about to leave.

Strange to think.

It's all scholarships and applications.

I barely have time to breathe.

Last year, I just heard it talked about.

Strange to think.

Halfway to graduation time.

I'll be moving away.

There will be no more of me.

Strange to think.

A new grade is rising.

Will they leave a legacy like mine?

Did we even leave a legacy at all?

Strange to think.

Senior year - me.

Senior year - them.

All within the next year.

Stange to think.
