Storms

I live for storms
for the thunder
and the madness it brings in its wake
the pounding of fear that it carries
for thunder is only a sound;
yet has the power to cause even the bravest to tremble in the darkness
I wish to someday hold that same ability
to bring such unyielding emotion
as simply a presence
