Starlight

The stars are shining bright

In the middle of the sky

Producing a faint light

As I look up and sigh

Their beauty is unmatched

So bright and real

I've grown quite attached

To their perfect appeal

I see a shooting star

So I closw my eyes to wish

The stars weren't so far

So they never will be missed

The sun's light makes them disappear

Then the dark of night makes them reappear
