A Stained White Petal

Location

One bloody petal falls then two

Staining a white snowfall that blew

Forgive me even though

I cannot become pure like the snow

I told one lie and then came two

I became weak and then I flew

Please don’t call me beautiful with your truthful lies

I hope I don’t become tainted in your eyes

It repeats over and over in my dreams

My blood, my face, I know it makes you scream

And whenever you look at me, you smile

Even though I became defiled

The wind that blew two and fro

The wind that erased my tracks in the snow

The petal-stained tracks left by my feet

And so by chance we finally meet

One bloody petal falls then two

Staining a white snowfall that blew

The only bloody red thing that’s called white

Is my undying love for you

If red can be more pure than white

Then can’t snow be more tainted than love?

And if we all sometimes forget out past mistakes

Then can’t we all be forgiven?
