A Stage

a stage, one lovely place,

act to your heart's content and there below crowds of people

all await your very act.
in life the truth scares me but

what's worst are the lies people tell,
the blabber and blubber they say,
to make you believe in something so fake,
to make you be who u are not,
to make you live the life they want you to.

there stands a lovely stage,
for you my fair darling,
to stand on and show,
the world that waits,
what you have to prove,
but why don't you know,
that certain things should be kept there,
our lives are not just a platform to shine,
we are humans,
souls with life,
we have more to life than an act to please,
cuz in the end what's left,
is the truth and nothing else
