A Special Day

Today is a very special day.

Its special becasue it isn't.

It had started at midnight.

It had a sunrise:

A farewell ceremony to the moon.

And as dawn danced upon the Earth,

the world began to awaken.

The birds and the bee

In nearly twilight trees

Rose to greet the sun!

Is this not a glorious day?

Is this not beautiful, normal?

Is this not enough to be

Special?
