The Space Below the Chasm

Join me here, my love

In the place where flowers grow

Side by side, let us stand, my love

And take one last final bow

Where the grass grows green

And the sky blooms blue

It is the place of us last

As the birds chirp three

To the big blue sea

We see not front but past

Join me here, my love

In the place that is white as snow

The rocks down below are calling, my love

I believe it is time to go

We joined hands seconds ago, my love

I am glad that we are two

For you know I am afraid, my love

If it were just me and no you

We leapt across together, my dear

Do you remember so?

We fell not down but upwards high

And we sank down the ocean low
