Southern Life 3 ( Son's Family)

Tue, 12/24/2019 - 13:38 -- JSLJH

Barefoot in overalls and dirt poor

the 4  tussled and played til they were sore

There was Maggie and Maude and Dutch and Son

growing and playing after the work was done

They did not have time for much schools

plowing and planting and sharpening tools

but they learned how to live and survive

knowing old pappy would not long be alive

He died when early and they took each other to raise

seeking to care for Della and hear her praise.

they lived on the hill where the warrior and tyty meet

fishing and liveing along both creeks.

as time passed into adult they grow

seeking other for a family to sow.

Maggie took Ben, hardworking and calm

Maude took a weeks from across the creek he come

Now Dutch is a special case

will follow with him in the next space

Just know this family was the psych aftermath

seeking to find their  life and their path
