Sonnet 96

Words may fail me when I'm in your presence

feelings and theories better left unsaid

our relationship, our talks are a pleasure

but it's safer to hide and hang my head

but darling never think I'm feeling shame

I keep this for you, all of this for you

I'll admit that most of our fights are my blame

I say that you're better than me, true

your shoulder may not be the best headrest

you and I together in our own biome

your name alone starts a blaze in my chest

a smile, your eyes could make hell feel like home

someday our paths may become parallel

sooner or never, who could ever tell
