Song for the Tide
Location
P { margin-bottom: 0.08in; }
She lived by the sea
Her hair moved in gusts
that stirred the dead animals
as they moved their plato bones
Her smile was dry
She lives with the sea now
She left her lighthouse behind
along with her red red hair
It is too painful
She has forgotten how to live without the waves
They crash over her like
cymbols
in a marching band of seaweed musicians
Her lips shape words that float out with the tide
Her breath throws seashells at the moon
Her hands search through the sand
She is looking for a rose
All the animals are dead
(they crumbled with their bones)
