I try hard not to listen

Staring blankly ahead

Its amazing I can control anything

Including the things I've said

When the world steps out in fear

I will look into the mirror

What are so afraid of?

Just look at what we're capable of

I don't have the will to hurt

I just leap and don't look first

I give into these demons

I put up my best defenses

But ultimately I lose my senses
