Snowing in Dallas

Snowflakes are falling.
My desire is failing.
I should be outside playing.
Sending snowballs sailing.

Why am I here?
There will be no learning today.
It's my senior year.
And I've got something to say.

LET ME OUT.
CANCEL SCHOOL!
HEAR ME SHOUT!
WHOEVER SAID WE HAVE TO SHOW UP TODAY IS A FOOL!

I'm good.
I'm better.
I may have over reacted more than I should.
I just hope the principle sees this poetic letter.

In Texas we don't see much snow.
It fun to play with, build and throw.
You're going to get a snowball straight to the nose.
You're decision has created a great many foes.

Look principle. I'm go to leave to play in the snow.
