Small impact

I'm small.
Too small to make an impact, almost unseen.

The sun beats me with her relentless beams of heat.
The ground beneath me boiling
I do my best,
work hard against the worlds fever.

The fight goes on for hours.
I grow stronger with every passing Moment.
Finally I feel my Impact.
The sun loses its power over me.

The earth beneath me feeling gentler with everything inch I grow.
Reaching my full potential
I won.
Gave everything thing I had.

In my back I feel the defeated sun wandering out of sight.

See you tomorrow sun for our next fight.
