Sister

You love me

But you think too highly of me

But you push me to the edge

You love me because I have not failed

Yet...

So tell me mother

What if I fail?

If I don't succeed

If I disappoint you

Will you still love me?

Will I still be cherished in your heart?

The heart I go to for approval and love

And Father

Why do you hate me?

Is it because I argue with you?

Is it because I stand up to you when you want to hurt me

hurt my mother,

hurt my sister

Or is it because I am not a boy

The boy you prayed to God for But never received

Sister, I need you

I will always be here

I will alway protect you

I wish the best for you

You are my light and joy

The one soul on this earth the truly understands my own

Learn from my mistakes

Do not follow in my footsteps

Love life

Do not let Mother guilt you

Do not let Father hurt you

Do not let the pressures of being happy make you unhappy

Be free my little sister
