Silent Minority

Silence; an honorable gift.

Possessed by few, criticized by many.

The art of taking in all

yet acknowledging nothing.

Scoffers mock the gifted,

calling out stupidity and ignorance.

Useless words fill their mouths

lacking taste and poise.

Why such hate?

Why such anger?

The silent stand proud;

the few, the wise

Nothing to be said

with silence; their best weapon.
