Silent, but Alive

So silent, yet so alive.

Pitch black is the night, with flickers of stars illuminating the heavens.

Neighbor's dim their lights to slumber, yet their aura manifests their presence as a continuity.

Crickets chirp in the distance, making the roads feel empty, while during the day they serve as the blood vessels that allow us to sustain the city's life.

People compose the city just as cells compose flesh, compose life.

It's only fitting that the city itself rests just as an individual, falling into a stupor of ecstasy.

The city is just as alive at night as it is breaking dawn.

So silent, yet so alive.
