There is silence all around

to those that never spoke up.

Their lives will always be silenced

from those who are never silent.

The voices they had

are no more.

They were not always silent,

only when they were at peace.

They choose to speak up.

Speaking up had a cost.

That price was the their life.

As their peace is gone,

so are they.

They now choose to silence themselves,

from the cruel world. . .
