I've been waiting for it to happen even though in the back of my mind I know it never will happen.
Because that is what we human do.
We wait and hope even though we know it won't change anything.
We know but we don't want to know.
Because once we realize and accept the truth then what do we do?
We love the struggle we put up with in our minds
Even if we tell ourselves and others that we hate what is going on.
Once thats gone there is only silence.
Silence that brings back past memories that we don't want to remember.
for me, the silence is my enemy.
It won't let me sleep at night and it won't let me relax.
There is no running away from it
Because it is in your mind.
So what do we do?
We find something to fill the silence even if it is painful.
Me... It may sound wrong but I love chasing after it.
Makes me feel.
But once I win, I don't feel anymore so I need to keep chasing it.
That is why we are just friends.
