Ships Sail

it was a stormy night

5 minutes passed the hour

the birds had gone to sleep

and the world was finally ours

i took her for a ride

and i saw how the waves crashed against her thigh

i saw the way the wind caressed her hair

and i felt a way

i got to see how she dealt with the pressure

with the bumps and the scrapes she acquired along the way

she never gave up but held strong

i steered her along the way

through the path of hidden treasures

we shared many days and nights

we arrived to our destination

and it was time for us to part ways

the sailor came and said;

“this is the last stop,

welcome to mystery cove where nobody knows

what is next to come”
