Its my time to shine

many years have passed

my destiny is calling

reflection in the glass

Curtain call!

I hear the man scream

a bang on the door

Startling me

your on in five!

he yells repeatedly

I’ve got the shakes 

It becomes hard to breath

count to ten he said to me

one two three bring it in

four five six its time to win

seven eight nine lets show them

I walk on stage the lights are shining

people are staring its electrifying

I close my eyes and say ten
