Shield Your Heart

Shield your heart,
Build a wall from stones.
I promise I will stay away,
From your weary bones.
Shivering in the moon light,
Where we once bore a kiss.
Of your eyes I remeness,
How did it come to this?
Shaddered souls turn,
Dark as they depart
I should have known from the beggining,
That we would grow apart.
And of all the times,
I built you up,
I only tore you down.
So close your eyes,
And dream of a love,
That would never let you drown.
