She's Not Me

I'm not her.

You dated her before me.

She broke up with you.

You came up to me and asked me on a date.

I said yes.

You told me that my hair reminded you of her.

I said that everyone has black hair.

You asked me to the prom.

I said of course.

You told me that my dress was the same dress that she wore to homecoming.

You said to wear pounds of makeup, so that I would look pretty.

You said, wear your hair up in a bun.

She wears pounds of makeup.

She always has her hair up in a bun.

Stop making me a person that I'm not.

I'm not her.
