I stood, a shell of a person I once was,
Not knowing if things would ever be the same.
As things got worse, my life lost its buzz,
But that was when you came.

You made me feel,
Like once again,
I was worth something real
And I will never forget the bend

I rounded
Just by being your friend.
If, then, I had drowned,
It would have started a trend.

Thank you for being there
When I needed you most,
Especially when I couldn't bare,
I still kept you close.
