She steps inside

a world unkown.

The place is dark

and stars don't glow.

She starts to cry--

she wonders why--

she thinks she cannot

be fulfilled

with just her dreams.

But she is wrong.

Dreams belong

in the real world.

Light will guide her

through new days...

Love will flourish

when she finds that

thing she cannot

live without.

For me,

it's writing.

And that same light

which leads her way

shrines through--

so bright--

awakes my sleep 

tonight.
