She is A City
She is a city, of great lights
Great hopes,
And internal fights.
She is a city
Cluttered with pain
From those who’ve done the wrong things.
She is a city
Attracting too many,
When love is scarce
And fear is plenty.
She is a city
Ideas so bright,
But time so slight.
She is a city
Scared of her destiny,
Scared of unknowns,
And scared of her enemies.
She is a city of great lights
Great hopes,
And Great might.
