Set Sail

There’s a mindset where they always live inside their memories,

I find it disturbing and it seems be a mystery,

Their emotional ship seems to be anchored by the past,

And when a storm comes along it’ll break up their mast,

And I understand why there’s no easy way out,

But the time will come when you set sail for home,

Night time comes to us all,

And the night sky stars make us feel small,

There’s dry land out there, you’ve just gotta know where to look for it

Water water everywhere that you can’t drink, think of it,

Your emotional ship seems to be anchored by the past,

And when a storm comes along it’ll break up your mast,

But I understand why you don’t feel there’s a chance,

But the time will come when you set sail for home
