Secret's Edge

Eyelashes brush on rosy cheeks
Slowly turning into yellow beaks
A feather upon a dusty pillow
Comes sweeping against a sprouting willow.
Yellow leaves by a river’s edge
Dance among the grassy ledge
Sinking below a fish’s tail
In an ocean where all knights sail.
Wooden boats float on murky waves
Exploring dank and scary caves
Chased about by hungry beasts
Around bonfires do they feast?
Into Fairies’ Forest dance those with wings
Tiny flutes bring soothing dreams
Eyelashes flutter suddenly wide
To a world that is on the other side.
