Seasonal Walks

Location

Winter is a slippery time for walking

My clunky boots skate along the ice

The temperature is chillingly shocking

On this adventure, I’ve only fallen twice

Spring blooms of bright scented flowers

I stride along the peaceful trail

With my golden retriever I walk for hours

Striving to keep up to his wagging tail

Evening walks in the summertime

Smoky campfires galore

Up the hills my mother and I climb

Exchanging laughs as we stroll down the jagged shore

Enjoyable fall hoodie weather is here

The vibrant colored leaves are drifting

I smile as I cross the paint-chipped wooden pier

These serene autumn walks are uplifting
