Seasonal Love

Location

The world was an icy place until you shone upon the land.

Your smile was the sun that thawed the spring.

The sweet scent of you brought the flora to life.

Our passionate stares burned like the long days of summer.

A bond so strong was to last for an eternity,

Burning as bright as the calm orange sunsets.

Naive affection soon came across turbulent waves

And melted away as the bitter autumn approached.

Our warmth faded away as the days become shorter

And the long nights settled within our hearts.

Happiness left as the leaves escaped their branches

And my heart become frozen once again.

But one day, someday, someone will soften my heart

And become my eternal summer.
