Screaming Dunes

When I take a silent step

You would never see

If i took a leap, id be free

The drums would pop, the sirens violently wail and sail through the sand

If i grasp the ground, it runs right through

I’d do anything to escape the loud thought of you

The song that serenades, a sick love song;  that I can never love

The thought that wouldve kept breathing to find that same fate staring at me years later

Yet, i stayed

I wanted to remain

Because when my heart strings were played

You made my heart the most pitiful sound amongst the dunes
