The Schoolhouse Halls

Location

Day in, Day out, its the same old stress

not a moment to waste, nor one to catch your breath

"As cruel as school children" does here still apply

so head down, walk faster, ignore the leering eye

We wake up and force ourselves out of bed

to go to a place where we all too much dread

not the teachers and books, but the hallways and peers

who too often forget that not every one cheers

for the parties and sex and the drugs and that mess

which are followed by decisions that lead to arrest

of development and also incarceration

because some of us just want a decent education

It's not that we're naieve, or shy or lame

we're just not into your primitave game

We get high watching  clouds, and shoot up information

to better ourselves and salvage this generation
