"SARATOGA"

“Saratoga”

Long car rides

Watching the trees race away from me

Glimpses of horses,

Hundreds of deers

Is what I see

I see the lines on the road

Escaping from under the tires,

Fading away

I hear my favorite song playing

Over and over along the way

The ride goes on,

We come to a stop

I get out of the car

Quietness is what I hear

I wonder where we are

saratoga

I see the memorials

The men who fought for their lives

I give my thanks,

It all goes so fast,

And soon I have to say my goodbyes
