Sacred Validity

People say I'm not valid,

people say I should choose,

they don't understand though

I love people not genders.

People say I'm dramatic,

people say I'm just scared,

they don't understand though

my brain is a time-bomb.

People say I'm too honest,

people say I'm being unfair,

they don't understand though

my skirt does not define me.

People say I'm wrong.

But why should I care?

This poem is about:
Me
