Dear friends,

We used to be rocks, holding each other down.

We used to be diamonds, one of a kind and rare for one another.

We used to have hearts of gold, the kindest words flowing out of our mouth.

Now we act as if we are throwing rocks at each other.

Now we break the diamonds into millions of pieces.

Now we have rust on our hearts of gold.

What happened?

Why do we no longer hold one another down?

Why do we take each other for granted?

Why are the words that flow out of our mouth filled with hate and jealousy?

I want my friends back.
