Rocking in My Rocking Chair

I'm rocking in my rocking chair. I'm rocking here and there,
I'm looking out my window wondering what is out there.
Oh my, it’s my ex-boyfriend; he got another girlfriend,
I wonder just like our old relationship, is their love is going to end.
Then I see so many people playing with their friends,
Now I'm wondering why I couldn't fit in?
I'm rocking in my rocking chair. I'm rocking here and there,
I'm looking out my window wondering what is out there.
Oh my, it's the mailman coming up the hill,
I wonder if he has that check I've been waiting for, or is it another bill.
Oh my, so many bills kills,
Sometimes I wonder how being rich really feels.
Then I see my husband sad and angry,
Then I held my stomach, so hungry and hurting.
I'm rocking in my rocking chair. I'm rocking here and there,
I'm looking out my window wondering what is out there.
Oh my, I see my daughter holding a man's hand.
He wants to marry her and love her,
But I wonder is he going to love her or hurt her again.
Once again, I'm rocking in my rocking chair. I'm rocking here and there,
I'm wondering what is going everywhere.
I look out my window; my eye sight has got blurry.
Then I sat there and realized; my whole life, all I did was WORRY.
