The Road Less Traveled

Time and time again we surround ourselves with little temptations.

We try to envelop our being

                to hide our true selves.

We worry about earthly things.

Is that so wrong?

We think that with our ingenuity,

we can go places… as long as we belong.

But as time progresses, I have begun to see differently.

I can see that true happiness is sought through being yourself.

Even if it takes you the road less traveled.
