I'm tired

Tired of the bashing

Tired of the working

And the scorning

The dreams of money

And the nightmares of hope

Tired, just tired

Of the people

Hurting, coniving, wasting

Al the potential we humans have

Tired

Of the process, the struggle

The carelessness

That seems to come

With being Me

 

Resolved-

That I am just tired

Of being tired

Tired of downplaying my exhaustion

For the sake of someone else's

Tired, just tired

And I am young

I am not suppose to be tired

Of anything

But I am

 

And that is the biggest problem

Of all

 

And it makes me tired the most.
