Change is inevitable and time goes too fast.
Before you know it, you’re at the finish line.
The best thing you can do is look at your past.
You’ve barely had time to shine.
Sometimes you feel so alone.
Sometimes you feel like no one cares.
Then your thoughts whirl like a cyclone,
and you get so sad, that nothing compares.
Simple thoughts can change your mind.
Take things for what they’re worth.
Remember that love is patient and blind,
and know there was a reason you were put on this earth.
When your situation begins to go bad,
and your mind changes its course,
just remember the life you could have had
with tons of dark, gloomy remorse
A life full of sorrow, self-pity, and doubt
I would say is such a shame
when you should have known what life’s all about,
but upon everyone else, you put the blame.
Life’s about happiness, gratefulness, and love.
Not wallowing in self-pity you should dispose of.
Remember that when things go bad and you’ll soon rise above.

Dam...... I felt that. Especially the part about time going by to fast, and about line 5 and 6. All this time i felt as if I were the only one going through my own personal situation, but it helps to know I'm not entirely alone. But over all, I liked it.
PS: I realized this poem rhymed when I read it the second time x)
