Reflection

Look in the mirror; What do you see?

Is there a smiling face staring back at me?

Don't lie; you don't deserve to smile

For who have you helped, and what have you done

We wake and forget why we are here

We each have a goal, a purpose, a tier

Don't forget, you didn't get here by yourself

Others have helped, you can't deny that fact

So what are you doing, just sitting intact

Damage yourself, but do so by saving others

Don't be afraid to ruin your glisten and dirty your hands

For it's better to save others, than it is to sit in the sand

Now look in the mirror, what do you see?

That's right, you have wings, sprawling across

With many little souls, protected against loss

They are your people now, you protect them from danger

Don't forget why you're here, it isn't to linger

Now go out and ask, "What can I do", "Who can I help"

Because one simple task, can save you from yourself
