Reflection

Dearest Reflection,

The sun illuminates my room.

You present yourself.

Once upon a time, blue and hollow,

now radiant like the star light flowing in.

Your smile, once seldom, rare, and far between,

now populate days more so than heavy frowns.

Eyes that no longer gaze at the floor but instead at the future,

scanning the horizon for hope and strength.

May you grow stronger as the days come and go.

May the dark days that brought you down remain in the past.
