Thailand the land of a thousand smiles

The air tastes like spices upon your lips

The distance feels like is extending miles

Gentle warmth is touching fingertips

Return footprints to the white gold beach

Where elephants gently roam in the distance

The delicious coconut in reach

Thai temples display timeless existence

These are some my childhood memories

Oh, how I would like to return back home

Secretly hidden from other countries

I should have never let excuses roam

This is a journey of self -discovery

That after the challenges comes recovery
